Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! We only celebrated with my side of the family since my in-laws were out of town this year. We hosted dinner at our house, and since it actually snowed here, we had to have the Easter egg hunt for my 2 year old niece indoors. I bought a pretty sundress and shoes to wear, and I woke up to a winter wonderful. Needless to say my original outfit was out of the question, and I had to wear boots and a sweater.
Ugh.
Dinner went off without a hitch, and my cousin has a sweet new baby, so we got to fight over who got to hold him.
The one good thing about hosting a holiday at your house … is that you are forced to deep clean your house.
Speaking of sprucing things up, I have a little table makeover to show you today.
A friend of mine brought me this table she had had forever, but it needed some updating.
It was a little banged up from day to day living, so I gave it a once over with Simple Green and then got to work.
I gave it two full coats, and one touch up coat, of Plaster Paint in Ocean Breeze.
I then used a medium grit sanding sponge to distress it, then I gave it a coat of Plaster Paint’s Paste Wax, and then buffed it with my 4 Inch Cordless Detailing Polished to give it a smooth finish and sheen.
