Happy Sunday friends! I hope you and your families are staying safe and well! We have only left the house to go to the grocery store. Topher has still been having to go to work, but I think this week that will change and he will be working from home which should be interesting. We jumped on the bandwagon and watched TigerKing like the rest of the world. You just can’t believe it’s a true story! We have been doing puzzles like mad! We just finished our third one, and it was so hard! We also started watching Locke and Key on Netflix and it’s really good!
I am also in the midst of a bedroom makeover. In the past week my mom and I have dismantled the room, painted it, madeover 3 pieces of furniture and are now working on the trim. Topher will be stepping in and installing the hardwood floors next. Trying to do a room makeover without being able to pop into Lowe’s or HomeGoods whenever I need to has been challenging. Thank goodness we had some spare paint, and I had some old furniture in storage to makeover. I will be showing you all the makeover in the next week or two.
Spring/Summer fashion is definitely my favorite. With the temperatures still fluctuating it can be a little challenging on what to wear. Also since we are all cooped up at home it seems that I am getting requests daily for cozy clothes. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite cozies as well as some cute dresses to wear when we are finally free to go back to our normal lives. There are some incredible deals happening right now!

Hi Shanna,
I am highly excited to see your furniture piece you are working on, as well as the rest of your projects and posts while this period of pause is in our lives. Embracing the positive is how I am getting through it…..I have always felt a monkey on my back with time… never enough hours in a day……but I was too intense and flighty anyway, so nearing retirement age in August, but not intending to retire, I am using my time to reconnect through cards for Easter…..decluttering my apartment in an organized way, giving it a “Tiny House” feel, bohemian style, and destressing by reading more scripture. Oh, and I guess I kinda just blogged!!! The shop gives me breaks from environment here, and I am getting it in shape too, until I reopen. Keep those posts coming…..it’s a great time to catch up on reading!
