Happy Tuesday!!! I just wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments on my Pink Glamour Christmas Mantel yesterday. If you didn't get a chance to see it, here's a quick peek Today I have a new area all spruced up. Get it? Spruced up? Today I'm taking part in the Welcome Home Christmas Tour with a few of my blogging buddies. Technically, we are supposed to decorate our entry ways or foyers, but since I don't really have an entry way, I decorated my coffee table since that is the ... VIEW POST

Happy Christmas Eve! It's going to be a fast paced day around here. Picking up pies, last minute cleaning, and some heavy duty praying like crazy that two of Topher's gifts get here at the last minute. Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the year. The sparkling lights of the tree, the wonderful smells of dinner cooking, and my family all singing Christmas carols at mass together. We will be having a Christmas Day brunch for my side of the family, and then on to my hubby's side for ... VIEW POST

Happy Monday everyone! Are you all scurrying around like I am, running to the grocery store, wrapping presents and cleaning your house too? I thought so. We were snowed in all weekend. So I got a couple of extra Christmas projects finished, made some homemade soup, and watched Holiday Inn, White Christmas, and R.I.P.D. The last one wasn't a Christmas movie, but Topher got to choose one, and I never pass up a chance to watch Ryan Reynolds. We are going with my parents and my cousin ... VIEW POST

You don't want to buy them things they don't want just for the sake of buying ... VIEW POST

I grew up in a small town. One of the perks of growing up there was everyone knew everyone (everyone also knew everyone else's business ... but that's another story). We had an elderly couple that lived right across the street from my family, and June and Cecil became our surrogate grandparents. ... VIEW POST

We had a busy weekend around here! We had Topher's side of the family's Thanksgiving on Saturday. After that I was back to work on a project. Sunday was spent taking pictures for a couple of this week's posts, cleaning up around here, and working on a couple of other new projects. Somewhere in between, the unnamed child and I watched "People Like Us". It was a good movie. We also looked for a car for the unnamed child but didn't come up with a winner yet. Topher's looking too, we spent a ... VIEW POST
