Hello my friends!
As the temperatures are skyrocketing, the day I dread most has approached. You know what I’m talking about don’t you?
Yes … I’m talking about swimsuit shopping.
I put it off as long as I could, but it is too hot to put it off any longer.
I know that for my 19 year old, swimsuit shopping is a fun activity. It was for me too when I was 19! Now that I’m 41, the areas on my body that I once wanted to show off, I know shudder at the idea of putting them out on display.
Work out as I may, I will never have that 20 year old body back. So I decided to go on the hunt for the perfect black one piece this year. Yes, I know that other colors can be flattering also, but black is like my good old security blanket, so that’s what I’m going with folks.
Today I’m sharing the Best Black Swimsuits of the Summer.
I’ve scoured many different stores, from Target all the way to J.Crew, and tried on many different suits to save you the agony of having to try on the wrong ones yourself. I may be scarred for life at all of the ones that were so, so wrong … but here are the top ones I came up with.
I have a variety of styles and price ranges. I don’t usually purchase more than one or two suits per summer, since I don’t go swimming that often anymore, so I tend to just spend a little more and get a couple of quality suits. I know a lot of you mamas out there are at the pool all the time, and buying several, more economical suits makes more sense.
I purchased a couple of these myself, but the number one suit that was the most flattering is the on the left side, third from the bottom (the girl is wearing a bracelet). I know with having lace and plunging V, you think you will have to have the perfect body to pull it off. Let me assure you, I definitely have a body with many issues, and this one was super flattering. Plus I wore it on our cruise last week, and Topher thought it was sexy.
So click away my friends! These are the best I can find, and they can be at your house within a few days without having to drag yourself to the mall and expose lumps and bumps to bad dressing room lighting.
You’re welcome my friends. You’re welcome.
