Happy Friday friends! I’m back!
For those of you that don’t know I was on a girls trip last week. My mom, my kiddo and I went on a cruise! We left out of Galveston, and to save money we drove down — which was a 10 hour trip. We did fine until we hit Dallas traffic, which was a madhouse. We didn’t think the roads could get any worse until we hit Houston traffic. Oh my gosh it was insane! Apparently no one there has heard of traffic laws. People there had never heard of a speed limit, turn signals or that you can’t drive 100 mph while driving on the shoulder of the road! By the time we got to the port our nerves were frazzled!
Once we got on the ship all was well. We went to Roatan, Belize and Cozumel. My immediate family are frequent cruisers, so we have hit a lot of the islands, but we had never been to Roatan before. It was super hot but incredibly beautiful there. The beach we went to had the fluffiest white sand and the most gorgeous blue water. We went on a shore excursion where we got to play with exotic birds and the best part was the monkeys! We had them crawling all over us which was amazing!…
