Nordstrom Sale Save VS. Splurge

 

Hello friends! How was your weekend? We actually went to our first movie in months … and we were the only ones in the theater! The theater was showing throwback movies, so we went to see the first Harry Potter all by ourselves, and it was so nice! Yesterday we had went to our 7 year old niece’s BD party. It was small with just close family, and since she doesn’t like frosting we had a cute little ice cream bar. She said what she wanted was a sleepover at our house, so we will be having a fun night with her later this week.

I’m sure many of  you are sick to death of hearing about the Nordstrom Sale. I hear you — that being said I would be a bad blogger if I didn’t tell you it is open to the public on Wed. morning. They will be restocking lots of merchandise so don’t be discouraged if you are on there scouting things out and they are currently sold out….

Hello my friends! We had a busy weekend working on projects around the house and shooting new content for this week. We  have been in our home for over 15 years, and are trying to decide whether we want to stay here and do some renovating or move. That being said we don’t want to put to much into the house if we aren’t going to stay, so we are in this limbo on trying to decide what to do.

Our three year old niece has been very sick with a 105 fever for days, and any prayers would be greatly appreciated!

This is the biggest sale of the year! If you’re not familiar with it this is where Nordstrom has up to 40% off all of their newly released fall goodies! Once the sale is over they will go back to full price.

This is an opportunity to stock up on items I use year round, including Christmas gifts!

There are 1000’s of items on the sale, which can take a lot of time to scroll through and get confusing. I’ve gone through every category and found all of the best pieces. Amazon Best of Beauty

 

Hello friends! Sorry I’ve been MIA, but I’ve been getting ready for Christmas! No, I haven’t lost my mind. I am part of a big campaign with a brand I’m super excited about, and it’s for their Christmas campaign! I can’t get into details about it yet, but I will let you know as soon as I’m allowed. Since my mom’s house has better lighting, we decked her house out like a winter wonderland. The brand was sending so many boxes filled with greenery, wreaths, ornaments and lights. Everyday Topher opened the front door, there were boxes outside up to his waist, and he was freaking out that my shopping had gotten out of hand! I had to keep reassuring him it wasn’t me (this time)!…

Target Book Sale

Hello friends! Is it just me or has this week flown by? It has been a busy week with lots of campaigns due, so there have been several late nights around here. I need to run to the grocery store today to stock up on food to make for Father’s Day before things get too crazy. The last 3 weeks I have been trying out a lot of different recipes from this cookbook and every one of them has been so good! My family is pretty picky so that is saying something!

I have always been an avid reader, but during quarantine I’ve been flying through them. There are so many good ones out there right now! I’m down to my last book, so I was really excited to see that Target is having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Sale on books, movies and video games! …

Fashion Favorites

Hello friends! I hope you all had a great week! Last week Topher and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary, so we headed-up to Kansas City for a mini getaway. We slept late in a bed that didn’t contain 3 dogs, ate way too much good food and just enjoyed walking around the city. It’s so nice that after 23 years we are still best friends and enjoy getting away and reconnecting.

Saturday night we had our 3 year old niece over for a sleepover. I have three nieces under 6 who take turns rotating to our house for sleepovers where they get spoiled to death. It had been Elsie’s turn, but with the whole pandemic she had to wait four months — which made her crazy! We painted, cooked, ate ice cream, brought out every toy in the house and went swimming to top things off. We had the best time!
