Easiest Present Ever Using the Walgreens Mobile App

Do you have people in your family that are sooo hard to shop for? My parents are those kind of people. When you ask them what they want for Christmas, they always say “Nothing, we don’t need anything”.

What do you do with that? You don’t want to buy them things they don’t want just for the sake of buying something.

Also, since I have been going store to store trying unsuccessfully to find them anything, I am now running out of time.

The one thing they can’t get enough of is their grandbabies. As you all know, the big news in my family this year was the arrival of my new little niece. Since there hasn’t been a baby on my side of the family since my kiddo (16 years ago), we can’t get enough of this little pumpkin.

We have a family gathering coming up this week, and I was starting to panic. I popped into Walgreens the other day, and while walking by their photo department the lightbulb went off: I would turn one of the pictures of my daughter and my niece into Walgreens and have a canvas made for my parents.

I spoke to one of the Walgreens photo employees, and I explained how I wanted to do it but I had an appointment to go to, and she told me I could do it all on my phone.

I ended up downloading the Walgreens mobile app and sent in my order straight from my phone in the waiting room at the eye doctor!

It was so simple to use!

• After I downloaded the app, I clicked on Photo.

• Next I clicked on Posters and Canvas Prints

• Next click on Canvas Prints

• Then I uploaded the picture I wanted to print

• Selected the size and then hit Next

After that you simply select the Walgreens closest to your house, fill-in your personal information, and then go about your day for a short while.

I chose the option to have it ready on the same day I ordered it. I only had to wait 2 hours before I could pick it up!

I was thrilled with the results!

I love that I am giving a gift that my parents will love and not just something they will toss in their closet never to be seen again.

This process was as simple as can be and can be done from virtually anywhere.
