Hello my friends!
We have definitely been experiencing May showers the past few days here in Kansas! While we can use the rain, this week, unfortunately, is the week we were having our house painted! Needless to say … that’s not happening!
As you know, the Decor Enthusiasts girls and myself have a monthly themed challenge, and this month’s theme is outdoor projects.
Since the outside of my house desperately needs repainted, I decided I didn’t want to expose you to that eyesore, and instead I’ll show you my newest Easy Spring Floral Wreath!
This one literally took me less than 10 minutes!
Let’s start with my supplies:
- A grapevine wreath
- a bouquet of faux flowers
- a roll of wired ribbon
Basically, all I did was use some wire cutters to trim the flowers to where each one had a stem of about 2 1/2 inches.
I then just stuck them deep into the wreath. The wreath was pretty dense and held the flowers in place, so I didn’t even bother hot gluing them in. If you are going to be hanging your wreath on a door exposed to high winds, you might want to glue yours in place, but I was lazy and didn’t.
It’s been hanging for a few days exposed to a lot of wind, and so far I haven’t lost any flowers.
I then made a ribbon and attached it with a pipe cleaner.
If you have problems making bows (like I do), you can pick up a ribbon making kit which you can use over and over.
That was it folks. So ridiculously simple!
Here are a couple of my other outdoor projects!
