Happy Friday friends! It’s been a crazy week around here!
First of all, it was my birthday this week. How the heck 42 years have passed by, I have no idea! My hubby and daughter took me out for a nice dinner and gave me some sweet presents. We are going over to my mom’s tonight, and the family is throwing me a little bd party.
The downside of this week was that our dog Gracie got pancreatitis, and I was up all night for two nights with her. We now have a million-dollar vet bill, but once she got some IV fluids she started on the mend. We are still having to give her some pills, and for a dog that doesn’t want to eat anything that is no easy feat.
On a side note, my prayers are with all of you out there that are still recovering in Texas, and all of the rest of you that are in the new storm’s path. I hope you and your families stay safe and dry.
On a lighter note, I thought I would share some of my favorite fashion finds of the week with you!
This twist-front top from Nordstrom takes a basic tee and gives it some personality. It’s only $22 and comes in 5 other colors. It’s a great transition piece into fall. It’s still pretty warm here in Kansas, so this is the perfect option for the heat. It’s also going to be great under a blazer or cardigan when it gets cooler.
I’ve paired it with my go to white jeans, and this Rebecca Minkoff purse has all of the perfect fall colors in it and it goes with everything!
As the weather gets cooler, this coral sweatshirt is going to be perfect. I’ve been wearing it on some of these cooler evenings, and it is so comfy and has a super soft lining. I love that it isn’t as boxy as your normal sweat shirt as it gathers in the front with the little tie. It’s on sale and comes in three other colors!
If you have followed along for awhile, you will know that I am obsessed with striped clothing! This off-the-shoulder striped top from J. Crew is my new favorite! I just got it and have already worn it 3 times! Can you believe it’s less than $35? You can wear it on or off the shoulder, and with it on, it would be cute under a jean jacket or cardigan!
These are my new favorite jeans for fall. They are ankle length and have enough give to make them comfortable but still hug your curves.
I can’t leave out these new berry colored heels! You know I love a colored shoe, but my lighter pink heels were just too light to carry into fall. These little gems are super comfortable and gives me that pop of color that I love. They run true to size as does the top and jeans.
If you are looking for a transition top that is soft and flattering this wrap number fits the bill! These Sam Edelman block heels are the perfect style and color for fall. They run TTS, and I wore them for 3 hours the first time I wore them and no blisters!
Make sure you head over to my friend Christy’s from Our Southern Home to check out her fashion finds of the week!

I apologize Cheryl. For some reason the links I included weren’t working that day and I didn’t realize it until later in the day. I went back in and corrected them later. Sorry for the inconvenience!
