Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I am big on going all out on the inside and the outside of my home.
I usually try to keep with a theme., and this Halloween I kind of went with the Spooky, but Glamorous theme. I’m a girly girl, and I am all about sparkle, so of course I have to incorporate that into my decor.
Let’s start with my mantel.
I have some sparkly black candelabras loaded with black hanging crystals, and I topped them with silver glitter candles. Draping across the front, I have my Glitter Skull Garland which I made out of light-up little skulls I found last year.
I made my Ghoulish Glitter Halloween Wreath out of sparkly little balls I found at a craft store.
At the bottom of my mantel sit my BeJeweled Jack-o-Lanterns.
Over on my side table, I took a skull that I picked-up for a dollar and spray painted it with silver glitter, and then I popped it inside an old cloche I had.
Also in the living room is my gallery wall.
I decided to spice it up with a few little paper bats and some stick-on masks and fangs for the photos.
Moving on to the kitchen, we have Bessie the Cow wearing her witch’s hat and rhinestone necklace.
When my grandmother passed away, I inherited a lot of her vintage hats. I’ve never really had a way to display them, so I decided to pop one of them on one of my glitter skulls.
On my buffet, I painted some shutters (that I found at a yard sale for a dollar) black and spray painted B-O-O in silver glitter.
I added an old birdcage I had in the middle and filled a mercury glass vase I had with black roses I picked-up for a dollar.
I stuck a cloche over a black owl, added in some rubber rats, and poured some mini skulls into an apothecary jar I’ve had forever.
On the other side, I brought out some mercury glass candlesticks I had and spray painted some pumpkins to set on top.
I opened one of the doors, hung a black feather wreath, laid in some dishes, and on top rests Mr. and Mrs. Skeleton.
On Halloween, the majority of your guests never actually enter your home, so the outside has to do all of the talking. Every year we add to our collection of light up Halloween figures.
The kids in our neighborhood always look forward to the day we light it all up, and they wonder over to check out the newest member of the collection.

You have some fabulous ideas. Your blinged out pumpkins are the cutest things I have seen in ages. I hope I can remember those for next year. My favorite thing may be your white dog by the front door. Thank you for inviting us into your home. LOVED IT!
