I have an exciting announcement!!!!
I’m having a Home Depot Virtual Party!!!
The fabulously talented Maryann, from Domestically Speaking, is hosting a virtual party where myself and three other bloggers will join her in creating our own version of this Hanging Gutter Planter!
Isn’t it cute?
I love that it’s super cute, functional, and a little outside the planter box! Plus, as an added bonus, it’s easy to make!
Some of my blogging buddies and I are hosting a “Virtual DIY Workshop”. We will walk you through, step by step, how we made our own planters and how we inserted a little of our creativity in them.
Here are the other lovely ladies who will be partying with us and building their own unique versions!
Maryann, Domestically Speaking
Mary Beth, Cupcakes and Crinoline
The Home Depot offers Workshops at all of their store locations. There are three types of Workshops: Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH), and Kids. If you have little ones, you have to take them! Seeing how proud they are after creating their own project is the cutest!
I know a lot of ladies get intimidated when it comes to power tools. I used to be one of them. Getting free hands-on training will show you that it’s not as difficult or as scary as it looks.
I love that The Home Depot is empowering women, kids, and the not-so-handy hubbies to tackle home decor projects, easy home repairs, and how to safely operate tools with step-by-step instruction.
To go to a local workshop to make your own Hanging Gutter Planter, just click on the link below to register. This would be a perfect Mother’s Day Gift!

If you decide to join in and make your own planter, make sure you share it on social media and use the hashtag #DIYWorkshop so that everyone can see your creativeness, and you can see theirs!
I already made my planter, and I decided to give it a little extra pizazz!
Any guess on what I did to it?
If you are a regular reader here, you might have already guessed what color I made it. Bonus points go to anyone who gets it right!
Just let me know your guess in the comment section down below!
