Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! Is anyone ready to get back into your normal routine? In the last few months I have not worked out at all, haven’t slept much and have indulged in way too many carbs and sweets. This week, like most of you, I am starting fresh.
Part of my normal routine is reading before I go to bed each night. I am one of those old school people who likes to read books with pages. This last year I have read some really good ones! Ones that make you cry or keep you on the edge of your seat. Ones that are so good you may stay up a little too late waiting to see what happens. Anytime any of you see a flash of what book I’m reading on my Insta stories, I immediately get DM’s wanting to know what it was and if it was good. So today I decided to share some of my favorite books of 2019. Most of these, but not all, are current — and a few are just new to me.
The #1 book I read this year was Year One by Nora Roberts. I honestly didn’t think Nora Roberts wrote anything besides romance novels. This trilogy was a wild ride that had crazy suspense, action, and a little bit of love mixed in. As soon as I finished the first book I immediately went to the store to buy the second. Then I had a painful 3 month wait before the third book came out! I can’t recommend these books enough!
After reading the first Nora Roberts trilogy and loving, it I did some investigating and found out she also had the Blood Brothers trilogy too, so of course I had to get it! I loved this one too!
Here are the rest of my favorites that I read this year!
I just finished Where the Crawdad’s Sing, which I loved, and am looking for a new read. Do any of you have any suggestions? Please leave it in the comments down below or DM me on Instagram!
