Hello friends!
It’s my favorite time of year! Every time I walk outside and see more flowers popping up or trees blooming it makes me smile.
The warmer temps don’t hurt either (except for today … as it’s 40 degrees and raining).
Spring clothes make me happy too. Ditching all those dark layers and making way for pastel hues.
My newest favorite top is this gorgeous one from Loft. It’s a pretty ombre pink, which is pretty on its own or with a cardigan over it until it warms up a little more.
Right now it’s 30% off which doesn’t hurt at all either.
Thanks Kansas wind! Lol!
I have it paired here with my favorite white jeans of the season. These are gold guys! They aren’t too tight, aren’t too see through, and come up high enough on the waist that you don’t have to worry about your behind hanging out if you have to bend down.
They also have this super cute double frayed hem at the bottom to give them a little extra character.
Needless to say I will be living in these all spring in summer.
Speaking of living in something, the other thing I will be living in are these wedges.
These are hands down the most comfortable ones I have ever owned, plus they are a great neutral that go with almost everything.
They are an investment piece, but since I know I will get so much use out of them this year and for years to come, let alone the comfort factor, I knew they were worth it.
They already sold out at Nordstrom, but I linked another retailer that had some in stock.
If You have followed the blog for long you already know that I am an insomniac.
That being said, I have a lot of free time on my hands at night, so I read a lot. Like a whole lot. It’s not uncommon for me to go through a couple of books a week.
I thought I would start sharing some of my favorites with you guys, and please let me know if there are any great ones that you think that I should pick up.
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein – I honestly think this is one of my all time favorite books guys. It is so well written, and if you are a dog lover you will love it that much more.
The story is told from the dog’s perspective … which sounds strange, but trust me when I say you have to read this!
The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware – I read this book while we were on our cruise, and it was one of those problematic books. You know the ones that keep you on the edge of your seat so much that you stay up all night reading them and can’t put them down?
This is one of those and was so good!
Mercy by Jodi Picoult – This is the book I’m currently reading, and right now I’m about halfway through, and so far so good.
I am a huge fan of Jodi Picoult and haven’t read a single book of hers that I haven’t loved, and that’s saying a lot because I have read almost all of hers. All of her book usually have at least 4 main characters, so it usually takes 2 chapters to really get down who is who, but once you do she always takes you on an amazing journey.
Books are getting so expensive these days I hate wasting money on duds, so I’m always looking for good recommendations!
Let me know down below!
