Happy Friday everyone!!!
I am headed to Kansas City with my hubby today for a little birthday celebration. I’m turning 40 on Sunday. I’m not sure how that happened, this one kind of snuck up on me.
In an area called West Bottoms in KC, they have turned all of the abandoned warehouses into a vintage shopping mecca that calls to me 3-4 times a year. People come from all over to shop block after block of these stores full of vintage goodies. There are food trucks and bands that play.
We will also be eating at some of my favorite restaurants, hitting Nell Hill’s, and I will be making my first trip to IKEA.
The unnamed child will be staying home, so she won’t miss the first football game, and my folks will be house sitting the pups.
