Happy Tuesday everyone!
I hope you all had a happy Mother’s Day! I worked all day on Sunday so that I could have this project finished to show you yesterday, but it just didn’t quite happen.
I picked-up this cabinet at a yard sale for the bargain price of free. It was dated, scratched up, smelly and the doors wouldn’t open.
Once I got it cleaned up, I painted the whole thing with Sweet Cream Plaster Paint.
I then painted the top and bottom in Plaster Paint’s Flannel.
I then stenciled the front cabinets and drawers. This is the part that took me awhile since I had to paint over and redo a few parts.
I then distressed the whole piece and coated it in clear wax.
Finally, I spray painted the original hardware and ta da!
my favoritwe piece yet Shanna! Great job!!
FANTASTIC job! Love it!

This is gorgeous!
Stunning!! I love the Flannel color with the creamy white. I don’t think I could part with this one if I were you 😉
Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous!
Looks great! I have yet to hear of the plaster paint brand. May look into using this for my next DIY project.
Gorgeous makeover Shanna – you did such a great job. Love the pop of color on the inside too.
Beautiful! Where did you find the stencil for the front of the doors? Would love to do his on a small table I am working on.
What a gorgeous piece! I’m featuring it tomorrow in my Friday Features! Thanks for linking up to Inspire Me Monday!
Thank you so much Maryann!
Wonderful transformation of the cabinet. I love the pop of color on the inside as well as the graphics you chose.
Thank you Donna! I love to have a little surprise on the inside!
Shanna I love that cabinet! I’m featuring it over at Power of Paint on Thursday!
Wow, this is amazing! It would look great in my dining room, just sayin’ 🙂
Thank you Jen! I know just where you can get one 😉
Beautiful Shanna!
Thanks Mel!
The cabinet looks fantastic!! Love that you painted the inside blue!! I have a wardrobe type cabinet in my bedroom that has shutter like doors on it that is painted black. Nothing special just functional. I painted the inside a deep blood red that coordinates with the pops of red I have throughout the bedroom. Every time I open it I get a thrill!!
Shanna,
I like the stencil and that sweet pop of color on this cabinet. Super job girl!
