Happy Monday everyone!
Are you all scurrying around like I am, running to the grocery store, wrapping presents and cleaning your house too? I thought so.
We were snowed in all weekend.
So I got a couple of extra Christmas projects finished, made some homemade soup, and watched Holiday Inn, White Christmas, and R.I.P.D. The last one wasn’t a Christmas movie, but Topher got to choose one, and I never pass up a chance to watch Ryan Reynolds.
We are going with my parents and my cousin tonight to go look at Christmas lights. I’m not a cold weather girl, but it does make looking at lights more pretty with snow on the ground.
Michael’s was having their big sale last week, and I scored a deer at 70% off.
Now I don’t have any gold in my house, but I knew I could change that (the color at least — not adding the gold).
First I spray painted the deer turquoise. Next I covered him in these round stickers.
Then I painted the whole thing with two coats of silver.
When you removed the stickers you got these cute little polka-dots.
Once it dried I tied a silver bow around his neck and voila!
He matches perfectly with my Ornament Wreath and my pumpkin topiary!
