I just wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments on my Pink Glamour Christmas Mantel yesterday. If you didn’t get a chance to see it, here’s a quick peek
Today I have a new area all spruced up. Get it? Spruced up?
Today I’m taking part in the Welcome Home Christmas Tour with a few of my blogging buddies. Technically, we are supposed to decorate our entry ways or foyers, but since I don’t really have an entry way, I decorated my coffee table since that is the first thing you see when you walk in my front door.
I started out with a blanket scarf that I normally wear, but works great as a runner. My centerpiece you might recognize from my spring decor.
I removed the little plants and inserted some inexpensive Christmas bulbs.
I used some old books and vintage bottles that I have picked up from yard sales last summer.
My cloche used to be the topper to an old clock, and the Santa underneath I picked up at an estate sale a few weeks ago.
My pine cone trees were a birthday gift a few years back, and my little deer was a thrift store find.
I love when you can change up your decor, and it doesn’t cost you a dime — which is a good thing since I have a teenager that is heading off to college soon.

Using a scarf as a table runner is a great idea. I enjoyed looking at all of the decorations that you used on your table. It look so pretty and is a great way to welcome guests if it’s one of the first things that they see when they enter your home.
