Hello friends! As many of you know the Sephora Holiday Sale is going on. There aren’t many times during the year that you can get deals on cosmetics, so now is the time to grab your favorite items! I get messages from you all asking about my beauty routine weekly, so today I’m sharing! Being over 40, I obviously use products that are perfect for my mature skin. I thoroughly test products to make sure they are the best before I recommend them to you. Right now I have the best makeup routine I have ever had! If there are any that you think I need to try out, leave them in the comments down below!
- YVES SAINT LAURENT Touche Eclat Blur Primer: It’s an illuminating primer that blurs imperfections and boosts the radiance of foundation. It simply preps skin for foundation application, creating an improved, refined appearance: pores seem to be minimized, skin texture feels smoother, and skin tone is more even. It’s enriched with four nourishing oils – corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil – to leave skin feeling incredibly soft without a greasy residue. Packed with blur technology, this universal primer provides a subtle, golden shimmer for ultimate luminosity. This primer is truly made for all skin types… but if you love a glowy finish to your foundation, and you find that you have dry skin, this is for you! A little goes a long way!
- BECCA Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer: This is the product I have found to be the most life changing! This priming balm smooths and blurs the look of fine lines while reducing puffiness. Infused with cucumber, matcha green tea, and caffeine, the sheer and velvety texture effortlessly melts into the skin to condition the eye area. It perfectly preps the under-eyes for corrector and concealer application, so makeup never creases or looks cakey.
- BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector: I have terrible under eye circles and this is magic! A full-coverage corrector that brightens the appearance of under-eye darkness and lifts with light—it’s like eight hours of sleep in a jar. Infused with ultra-fine, light-reflecting illuminators, this rich, luminescent cream instantly brightens the look of under-eye darkness. It smooths the look of fine lines around the eyes, without settling into them. Backlight technology reflects light to draw attention away from lines and wrinkles, creating a lifting effect.
- Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation: This matte foundation is beautiful, medium coverage, without looking cakey. I’m color, Nude. It’s a 14-hour wear, comfortable matte foundation for a flawless-looking complexion. Also, a transfer-resistant, oil-controlling foundation creates a smooth canvas for comfortable wear using exclusive comfort matte technology that is never cakey or mask-like.
- Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer– The number one thing I struggle with is dark under eyes. I have tried every concealer out there and I have found this to be the best one, especially for mature skin. It contains coconut water and hyaluronic acid which gives a smoother, more youthful appearance. It covers extremely well and I set it with the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder and this combo is magic! I get the color Snow.
- Too Faced Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer: This is one of my must have products! It’s a blush, bronzer and highlighter in one! There are so many of you that have tried and loved this too!
- Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette– This is my favorite new palette! It has such pretty rich tones that are perfect for fall, although I wear it year round. It is highly pigmented and contains the perfect combination of matte and shimmer shadows.
- Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder-This ultra-fine setting powder that blurs imperfections and keeps the shine away! Since it is pricey I usually only use it to set my under eye makeup as it is so finely milled it doesn’t settle in your fine lines like most powders do. It works for myself who is super dry and my daughter who is more oily. I use the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Genius Under Eye & Face Magic Setting Powder for the rest of my face as it comes in a bigger container and you get more for your money. The setting powder just works better on the under eye area. I get the lightest color in both.
- Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara– Mascaras are usually either lengthening or volumizing, but I find this one to be both! I get questions on if my lashes are real all of the time (which they are) and this is the reason!
- Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick: Her lipsticks are enriched with the antioxidant Lipstick Tree, a breakthrough, secret ingredient that naturally protects lips from UV damage, leaving them cashmere-soft and irresistible. The lipsticks are also blended with special waxes and clever light-diffusing pigments to bring you full-bodied, ultra-brilliant lips.
