For the last couple of months my bloggy buddies and I have participated in a decorating challenge where you decorate the same space three different ways using only items you already own.
Making over furniture is easy for me, decorating not so much. As I have said before, I tend to decorate a space and then leave it for the next five years. This challenge has been good for me to pull old things out of the basement and shuffle things all around the house.
The spot that I chose to decorate was my buffet.
Here was what it looked like in January.
Here it was in February.
For March, I wanted some pops of color, so I incorporated some green and pink from the roses and turquoise from the vase.

Thanks Laura! I’m still having some kidney issues but at least I’ve been released from the hospital! It’s nice being able to snuggle up with my pups!
