Hello my friends!
Remember that One Space Three Ways Challenge we did a while back? We had such a great response to it we are doing it again! Just choose any area of your home and play along with us as we change the same space for three different months:
- This month’s theme is Fall/Halloween,
- November’s is Thanksgiving, and
- December is Christmas.
If you are a regular reader, you know that I love to decorate for Halloween. I look forward to it every year and try to cover every surface in my living and dining room (as well as outdoors) in spooky decor.
The area I chose for the challenge is my coffee table. It’s the first thing you see when you walk in the front door.
This year, I found a fabulous centerpiece at HomeGoods. Topher sort of looked at me like I was a crazy person as I came around the corner wheeling this couple around in my cart, grinning ear-to-ear.
Now that we have them home, though, I’m pretty sure he likes them almost as much as me.
I like to mix up some spooky items along with some pretty items.
I added my departed couple in with some glittery pumpkins I had from before, and some mercury glass that I use from Fall through Christmas.
I bought my Halloween runner from Homegoods also. I had never been to a Homegoods before, since we don’t have one where I live, but we hit one in Kansas City, and I may have gone a little crazy when I discovered the Halloween section.
The little black glittery trees came from Target’s Dollar spot.
I will be posting the rest of my Halloween goodies next week!

how fun…and creepy is that!! 🙂 I was at target today and actually saw those little black trees and thought about getting some for the kids but then they would think trees = presents needed to go under them…so i didn’t buy them. They are perfect in your halloween decor.
I LOVE your spooky coffee table with glam built in. That departed couple was quite the find.
