Today is an exciting day! It’s Swap it Like It’s Hot #6!!!!
If you’re new to the blog, this is where a bunch of super talented blogging buddies, and myself, each have a budget of $10 to spend picking up some things at our local thrift stores. We then forward them on to a friend where they transform them into something fabulous.
Do you remember my Swap It projects from last Spring? I received these items from Run to Radiance
I turned them into a pretty succulent planter and a cake plate. See more of these projects here.
Now let’s start with the first thing that I received from Addicted to DIY
Yep, I apparently did something very wrong in a prior life, and now I’m being punished for it.
Just kidding!
Kind of.
Anyway, I really had to do some serious thinking on this one. In the end, I just decided to dismantle the whole thing and start from scratch.
My brother and sister-in-law just had twin little girls, so I decided I would glue together some of the pieces and make them a little sign for their nursery.
I thought it turned out pretty cute considering what it was before!
The other item I received was this:
You will have to tune in tomorrow to see the results!
Don’t forget to check out my other previous Swap It posts here and here.
Make sure you head over to I am a Homemaker to see how she made over the goodies I sent her!
