Happy Tuesday everyone!
With Easter right around the corner, I thought I needed a bit of color for my front door. This project is pretty simple and relatively inexpensive too.
Here is what you need : a 10-12 inch wreath form (that cost the most, but I got mine at Michael’s for 6.99 and used the 40% off coupon I downloaded to my phone.
Then, I purchased some moss. I also found this at Micheal’s, on clearance. It comes in sheets, but I bought a moss runner and cut it into strips
I added some colorful Easter eggs — I got my eggs at Dollar Tree, and they came with little ribbon loops on them to hang … and I just cut them off
Finally, you’ll also need a glue gun and a roll of ribbon — whatever color you want, but I would make sure it is at least an inch wide, so it will be sturdy enough to hold your wreath. I purchased mine off the clearance rack at Micheal’s for a dollar.
First, I cut off all of the ribbon loops on my eggs. Next I cut my moss runner into strips and started gluing them around my wreath form until the entire wreath is covered (lease pardon Gracie‘s stuffed dog in the backgound — sometimes there’s no hiding the dog toys strewn across the house).
Next I just started gluing on all of the eggs. You can have as many or as few as you want.
This part takes the longest (although it’s less messy than gluing the moss in place).
After it is covered as thoroughly as you like, cut a piece of ribbon and hot glue it to the back.
Super easy!
