Easter Mantle

Happy Spring my friends! This is my favorite time of year:  the birds chirping, the flowers blooming and those warmer temperatures creeping up! I love pulling out the Easter decor filled with soft, pretty colors.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends! It’s been another long week! I’ve been helping out with nieces this week, shooting new content, and working on our bathroom reno. We are going back to my hometown this weekend to see a dear family friend. The weekend will also be filled with other fun things like cleaning the carpet and patching holes in the wall from our gallery wall to make way for some new, more modern decor.

One thing that is exciting is this warmer weather! That means no more of me having to change my clothes in the back of a car for shoots when it’s 12 degrees out!

Hello friends!

I hope you all are having a great weekend! I was watching my niece last week, who had her spring break from kindergarten, so I have been playing a little catch up. Yesterday it was the first nice day out in forever, so we shot a lot of new outfits — so be on the lookout next week!

Best in Spring Accessories

Hello my  friends! We have been getting glimpses of slightly warmer weather here, and I am craving Spring! I am so ready to ditch the sweaters and be able to wear sundresses and sandals. I know you are all too, as all of last month’s biggest sellers were all Spring goodies.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends! It’s been so cold here in Kansas! Today we are up in the 40’s again, but this weekend it is supposed to be freezing again! We have demolished our hall bathroom, and Topher took the day off to tile the room, but using a wet saw outside when it’s 40 degrees is going to be a bit rough. He better get it all done today since he won’t want to be out there this weekend when it’s below 20 degrees!

My skin has been incredibly dry lately, so yesterday I went and got a HydraWand Facial. Basically what that means is that they do microdermabrasion (where they remove all of the dead skin cells and unclog your pores), and then they infuse your skin with moisture and really plumps things up and gets it glowing. I have really sensitive skin that bruises very easily, so the next day I have some light capillary bruising that will be gone by tomorrow. I do have one bigger spot on my neck that looks like a giant hickey! I have two appointments to go to today, so it will be fun seeing all of the looks I get being a 43 year old walking around with a giant hickey!
