Amazon Prime Day!!!

Hello friends! Today is Amazon Prime Day!

I am a huge fan of Amazon Prime as it makes my life sooo much easier! We order everything from last minute birthday gifts to groceries. Today they are having Prime Deals which are some of their best prices of the year! Now is the time to stock up on items you have been wanting and time to stock your gift closet! Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends! I hope you all had a great 4th! Honestly ours was pretty low key. We did a little work around the house, grilled out, Topher and I watched a couple of episodes of Scandal (we just started it), and then watched the neighborhood fireworks. We watched most of the fireworks inside because 1. It was insanely hot and humid and 2. Our 3 pups get completely freaked out by fireworks even though we keep them indoors. We try to keep them distracted and have the TV or music going, so they don’t focus on the earth-shattering booms going off.

4th of July Favorites

Hello friends! I would like to tell you all about how exciting our lives are and all of the fun things we have been doing, but we have been pretty darn boring lately.

Since we took our cruise in January, we aren’t going on a big vacation this summer, so we have just been working on projects around the house lately. Topher has spent the last couple of weekends working on a giant mirrored cabinet for our bathroom. Since I get sent so many beauty products from companies to review, my beauty hoard is getting a little out of hand, and my countertop is insane and has zero organization. For our anniversary I told him rather than to buy me a gift, I would much rather him build me a cabinet to get my mess under control. Two weekends into it in the 95 degree heat, I’m guessing he would have rather bought me a bottle of perfume.

I’m going to be watching my 3 nieces (4 years old, and twin 20 month olds) for the second half of this week, so I have been finishing up some painting projects before I head over to stay a few days over there.

The 4th of July is right around the corner, and I know most people either go to or host a party. I have been getting lots of requests for some red, white, and blue outfit ideas, so I gathered up some of my favorites!

There are a variety of styles and price points as I know some people have dressy shindigs, while a lot of you keep it casual like we do.

30 Under $30

Happy Hump Day friends!

I apologize for being MIA last week! My brother and sister-in-law were out of town, and Topher and I watched their 18-month-old twins for the week while they were gone.

Having only one child myself, I didn’t realize the main goal you have when having twins is to not let them kill each other (or themselves)! You could give them identical toys and somehow they would end up in an all-out brawl over the same one every time.

They want to use utensils on their own right now … which was a major disaster as noodles and pudding were being shot across the room at every meal. We were instructed to give them baths every other night, but after every meal they ended up with crunchy hair or pasta in their ears, so baths were an every night occurrence.

In the end we had a lot of fun with them and I was a little sad to see the week end. Having sweet baby snuggles and kisses are wonderful things to have in your life….
