Happy Friday everyone!!!
It’s been a typical, crazy week around here. I had custom pieces I had to finish up for clients, furniture pieces for the booth to finish up, and yesterday was Topher’s 40th birthday! I asked him whether or not he wanted a big party, but he declined. So we went out to his favorite Mexican restaurant, came back home, opened gifts, and then had his favorite lemon pie.
Yesterday was the first day it has been warm enough here to go to yard sales, and I ended up with a pretty good haul. Head over to my Instagram account if you want to see the goodies.
It was so warm yesterday, that the unnamed child came straight home from school, threw on her bikini, and laid out in the sunshine for a little bit. Today is supposed to be the same, but the thunderclouds are going to be rolling-in this weekend. I know that we need the rain, but I have some city-wide yard sales to go to on Saturday. I will keep you posted on what I find.
Since we will be hosting Easter dinner, I figured I needed a few more Easter decorations to spruce the place up.
On this project, I followed with the plan I have had for all of my other easter projects (my Easter Egg Trees, and my Striped Easter Rabbit Silhouette): Quick and easy.
While cleaning out the storage room the other day, I can across some extra mason jars.
I printed off a rabbit silhouette that I had googled.
I cut it out and then I traced it onto some contact paper.
I then cut it out and stuck it in the middle of my jar.
I then painted over the entire jar with three coats of Folk Art Multi-Surface Paint in Aqua.
Once it was dry, I removed the contact paper bunny sticker.
I then threw in some yellow flowers for a bright pop of color.
This would be a super easy Easter Centerpiece!
Have a great weekend!

Love the bunny mason jar!! It’s so cute and perfect for flowers.
By the way, did you see that Joel is out of the picture on Hart of Dixie? We’re wondering how long it will take them to get Zoe and Wade back together. Can you believe that they are trying to put George and Lemon together again? Not for sure about that one!
Have an awesome weekend and hope you find great pieces at the yard sales.

Thanks Crystal! I am so happy Joel is gone! The only reason I am happy they are putting George and Lemon together is so that he doesn’t get with Zoey. I haven’t watched last week’s episode yet. I need to catch up tomorrow night if I have time. Have a happy Easter Crystal!
