Hello my friends! I hope you had a great weekend! We had our first sleepover with our two-year-old niece, and we had so much fun with her! We played with the dollhouse, play-dough, Lite-Brite and took her to look at Christmas lights. She was so sweet, and we are going to have to have a sleepover with her twin sister soon too! We have 3 nieces on my side, and we love having our special time with them all!
I don’t know about you, but I am so behind this Christmas! I usually have all of my gifts bought by the end of October, so I don’t have to fight the crowds, but this year I still have a ways to go! Add on to that getting my house in order, along with several Christmas parties, and I’m going to need more hours in the day!
I learned something when I first got married (well several things actually). I learned that my hubby needed some guidance on what I wanted for Christmas. For the first few years I let him surprise me, and I ended up with some bizarre gifts. After a few years I gently started dropping hints on what it was I wanted. 21 years later I now literally make a list for him and he decided what off it to buy, so it’s still a bit of a surprise on what I am getting. It makes his life easier, and I get something I really want. He does usually throw in something not on the list to keep me on my toes.
Today I’ve got a list of all of the things I have already and love or are on my wishlist (are you reading this Topher?) This way you can forward it on to your hubby and let him pick for you! You know how men hate shopping! This way it saves him the hassle of fighting the crowds!
