June flew by for me!
I constantly felt like I was running behind, and I didn’t get much done, but when I look back on my posts for the month … I guess I did accomplish more than I thought.
As far as our personal lives went, we celebrated my mom’s BD, our 18th wedding anniversary, babysat for my niece, and spent a few days in Kansas City while Topher had a conference to attend.
Next week I will be in Atlanta attending a blogging conference, so I am rushing around trying to get some projects finished up before I leave.
I am already feeling sad that summer is halfway over. I really love staying up late watching movies with the unnamed child and sleeping in in the mornings. She will be starting her senior year this fall, and I have really been making an effort to spend time with her (when she isn’t out with her friends) no matter if it means getting behind a bit on my projects. Once she flies the coop, I don’t want to regret missing out on any opportunities I had to hang out with her. The thought of her graduating is already making me anxious.
Here is the month in review in case you missed anything.

Hey Shanna,
It was so nice to meet you in the van on the way back to the airport. I got to know you a little bit just by the conversation but reading your blog I am getting to know you more. Your blog is precious and I will subscribe to it! You have a new fan. Hope to see you next year at Haven!
