Does your family have any of the Just Dance editions?
Ours has every one of them! We originally bought them years ago for my daughter to have when her friends came over. I figured it would be one of those things that she would play with for a few weeks and then be over it. Surprisingly, throughout the years, she and her friends have continued to love them.
Teenagers, as you know, are OK not being very active, and they sometimes want to just sit around either watching movies or texting. This game gets them up on their feet, entertaining them, and burning a few calories at the same time.
My daughter and her friends will even break out a version of Just Dance when they have boys over. I never thought the guys would play it, but shockingly, they are the first ones up in front of the TV shaking their hips.
Teenage girls are also known for staying up until the wee hours of the morning, but after they play Just Dance for a few hours, they pack it in early and sometimes are in bed by 1:00AM — which is a miracle!
Another thing I LOVE about Just Dance 2015 is that the makers have partnered with Stomp Out Bullying to bring awareness to National Bullying Prevention Month each October.
They are teaching kids that “it’s okay to dance to your own beat!”
The kids aren’t the only ones who like Just Dance 2015. Anytime we have a holiday family get together, we fire it up and everyone from Grandma to the toddlers to the crazy uncles all jump in and start moving.
It’s hilarious to see my cousins and my parents up their shaking it!
Something that’s impressed me about every version so far is their amazing song selection. And this latest edition might have the best! It has more than 40 of the hottest hits like Problem by by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea, and the adults love the throwbacks like “Walk This Way” by Run DMC & Aerosmith. The kid (even though she just turned 17) was thrilled that “Let It Go” from Frozen was on there, and Topher had to try out the “Mahna Mahna” song that they used to play on the Muppet Show.
Plus, dancing after Thanksgiving dinner sure burns off a lot more calories than watching football!
New songs and wacky choreography in Just Dance 2015 encourage kids and adults to let loose and be themselves.
So if you’re looking for a great gift ideas for holiday, something fun to entertain your kids while getting them active, or just something new and exciting to do with your family over the holidays, head out and pick up your copy of Just Dance 2015. It’s available for the Wii, Wii U, XBOX 360, XBOX One, PS3 and PS4 — so there’s really no reason not to grab one for whatever system you have.

We got our girls the first Just Dance when they were in junior high. It was worth every penny. It has been the source of entertainment for us.

I love Just Dance! I haven’t played it since the first versions came out, but maybe I’ll have to put this one on my Christmas wish-list!

Believe it or not, I’ve never heard of Just Dance! I must be living under a rock. Maybe it’s because I have all boys? Anyway, it sounds like such a fun product! Now I’m curious–do they just make these to contemporary songs, or do they have classic rock editions?
Thanks for the recommendation!

We love Just Dance! My boys have so much fun playing it and…well, they laugh when I do it. I have pretty much no coordination but it’s still a lot of fun. 🙂

I had a ball watching a few teens play with this at a party a few years ago. It almost made me want a gaming system so that I could play it myself. It’s great that it makes exercise fun for teens and adults!
