May was a super busy month.
Lots of projects due and trying to get things wrapped up for the end of school. There wasn’t a huge amount of posts, mostly because the ones I completed were big ones.
Let me just tell you, the Vintage Chic Wedding Shower nearly did me in. The day we shot it, it was raining off and on all day. We packed up the car with all of stuff and drove it to a pretty location. Once we got there and set it all up, of course, it started raining. So we frantically loaded it all back in the car and sat and waited.
After 20 minutes we unloaded it again, set it all back up, and you guessed it, it started raining again. So we ended up doing this no less than 4 times. By then it was incredibly hot and humid. On the last setup, we knew we had to move fast because it looked like it could rain any second and the frosting was melting off the cupcakes and cookies after being in the heat for so long. Let’s just say I earned my money that day.
All of the pieces down below are at my booth except for the two toned dresser, that sold right off the bat.
June is so booked up I can’t see straight, so I am actually having to use my calendar to know what panic attack I should be having on what day. Topher and I will be heading out of town for 5 days (which won’t help things), but I am determined to try and relax a little bit. The unnamed child and the furbabies will have a house sitter staying with them. I might be crazy busy this month, but I have it together enough to know not to leave a teenager and an empty house alone together.

Bikini Body Mommy Challenge Day 3
As promised I am giving you my day by day take on my 90-day fitness plan that I am doing. Okay so today is cardio day … which I guess is good because my butt and quads are still super sore from yesterday. She lets us know up front that we are doing 2 sets of everything. That sounds reasonable; I can handle 2 sets.
We start out with jumping jacks, something that I haven’t done since middle school. One minute really gets your heart going. For some reason while I’m doing them, I start moving backwards. Am I the only one that moves backwards while doing these? On to skaters — after about 5 of these I can really feel that soreness in my butt from yesterday. Well at least they must be working the areas that I need to be working. Then comes mountain climbers. Let me tell you that these are my nemesis. For some reason these totally kick my butt, and I feel totally uncoordinated while doing them. One minute of these feels like and eternity, and I feel like I have some mental disability that makes me look incredibly spastic while doing these. Last we move on to jumping rope. Now we don’t actually use a rope which is good because I don’t own one. Now these definitely get the heart rate going. You do feel like an idiot doing these. If someone could see into my window and see the unnamed child and I doing these, they would think we were lunatics. Then after a minute of rest, you do this whole thing over again. If the mountain climbers wouldn’t have been involved, I would have been very satisfied with this workout.
See you tomorrow for day 4!
