My New Christmas Gifts from the Best Buy Gift Center

Christmas came and went in a flash this year.

It turned out lovely, and we got to spend time with both sides of the family.

Although Christmas is all about family and friends, it is nice to get a few new goodies under the tree.  As all of my Instagram followers know, my phone is always with me. I take tons of pictures and am able to check on my blog and emails at any time.

Even though my iPhone 4 still works fine, I wanted to upgrade to the 5 since it has a better camera, takes better pictures, has a clearer screen, etc.

Well, guess what was waiting under the tree for me? You guessed it: an iPhone 5 from Best Buy!  Woohoo!

One of the first things you need when you get a new phone is a new case. If you’re like me, besides protecting your phone, you also want it to be cute.

Now Topher has a plain black case that suits him just fine, but I wanted something with a little more pizazz.  I find shopping in the Best Buy store works better than just ordering one off of the internet because colors tend to look differently on the computer, it’s tough to get a feel for the texture and durability, and at the store what you see is what you get.  Best Buy also has a very knowledgeable staff that is super helpful about directing you to the product that best fits your needs.

Of course chose a hot pink case! It’s an Otter box which means it’s practically indestructible — which is definitely something I need!

Like most of America, my New Year’s resolution is to start going back to the gym more regularly.

After a while, the gym tends to get boorring.

My daughter pointed out that I could get a nice set of earbuds to take to the gym with me, and I could listen to music on my phone while I work out.

I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before! That would definitely get me more motivated!

So while I was at Best Buy, I found this great set. Even better … I got a Best Buy gift card in my stocking, so I didn’t have to spend a dime on them!

I got the Ironman series Yurbuds earphones, and I took them to the gym today, and I was shocked at what a great sound quality they had when they were so affordable! I think the last time I wore headphones to the gym, I was listening to a cassette in my yellow Walkman!

Yes I know that shows my age people.

Now I have two birthdays to buy for in January, so I was looking for ideas and found out you can see what Best Buy gadgets are trending on Twitter and click-through right to the product on this page!  One of the people I am shopping for is a teen, and Best Buy is the the best place to buy the best tech gifts — and they even sell iTunes gift cards too!

While we were at the store, Topher added a little something to his wishlist.

The XBOX One is something he feels he “needs” but since Christmas is already over … that might have to wait awhile.

Overall, Santa and Best Buy were really good to me this year. I can start off the new year listening to my new earbuds on my new phone with my new pink iPhone case.

What more could a girl want?
