Happy Christmas Eve!
It’s going to be a fast paced day around here. Picking up pies, last minute cleaning, and some heavy duty praying like crazy that two of Topher’s gifts get here at the last minute.
Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the year. The sparkling lights of the tree, the wonderful smells of dinner cooking, and my family all singing Christmas carols at mass together. We will be having a Christmas Day brunch for my side of the family, and then on to my hubby’s side for Christmas dinner there.
A little while back, my neighbor was throwing out this old window screen, and I told Topher that I knew I would someday find a use for it.
He of course told me I never would. I love it when I’m right.
So the first thing I did was wash off about 30 years worth of filth.
I then traced a big circle on a piece of paper and taped it to the back of the screen.
Next I bent some ornament hangers into the shape down below. Then I started hanging my ornaments along the lines of the circle.
I thought this would be a no-brainer, but it took longer than I thought to get them spaced just right.
Ta da. Semi-perfectly shaped wreaths!
I’m taking a break to spend some time with my family, so this will be my last post until the new year.
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas!
