Hello my friends! I hope you had a great weekend! We had our first sleepover with our two-year-old niece, and we had so much fun with her! We played with the dollhouse, play-dough, Lite-Brite and took her to look at Christmas lights. She was so sweet, and we are going to have to have a sleepover with her twin sister soon too! We have 3 nieces on my side, and we love having our special time with them all!
I don’t know about you, but I am so behind this Christmas! I usually have all of my gifts bought by the end of October, so I don’t have to fight the crowds, but this year I still have a ways to go! Add on to that getting my house in order, along with several Christmas parties, and I’m going to need more hours in the day!
I learned something when I first got married (well several things actually). I learned that my hubby needed some guidance on what I wanted for Christmas. For the first few years I let him surprise me, and I ended up with some bizarre gifts. After a few years I gently started dropping hints on what it was I wanted. 21 years later I now literally make a list for him and he decided what off it to buy, so it’s still a bit of a surprise on what I am getting. It makes his life easier, and I get something I really want. He does usually throw in something not on the list to keep me on my toes….
