Today is the final day in my How To Host A Baby Shower series. So far we have covered how to make a Diaper Cake, a Flag Bunting, a Tulle Wreath and a Tissue Paper Bunting. Today I thought I would show you the finale: the dessert table.
Here is the finale:
I made doughnut hole kabobs and Raspberry Mousse shot glasses.
The stand that the cake pops are on is a cardboard box with sheets of moss hot glued to it. I served pink lemonade and sangria. I used mason jars as drinking glasses.
The cookies were pink and white sugar cookies in the shapes of bottles, rattles and onesies. I will post the strawberry cookie recipe and the directions for the Rice Krispie treats soon.
The chalkboard is the was the one I made over from a dresser mirror and the unnamed child wrote on it with chalk markers.
All in all, everything went really well, but I am glad to get back to my normal projects for a while.
Thanks so much for joining me through this series!
See you tomorrow!
Can I say AMAZING!!!! Every detail is adorable and the colors are so pretty! I really have to compliment you on the fact that I can see the Restoration Redoux design touch on your whole table. Love it and pinning ~ Amy
What a lovely shower table. I know your guests must have been blessed by all your time and trouble. All of it is perfect…I like the little grassy box to hold the cake balls. And I love the old scale you used on the table too.
It all looks wonderful! Mason jars with straws are awesome…I will have to remember that for my next party for sure. 🙂
Thanks so much Sherry! Have a happy 4th!

What a beautiful baby shower! Love the diaper cake and the moss platform. But the best is the donut holes on sticks!! Very pretty and festive!
Thanks Catherine! The moss platform was a bit messy to make but I loved the pop of color it gave! The donut holes were a huge hit!
I’m hosting a Baby Shower Brunch soon and am going to use that donut hole kabob idea!
All the men at the shower devoured them! Good luck with your shower Betsy!
