Hello my friends! Today, my Decor Enthusiasts friends and I are talking about decorating with baskets. I have mentioned in the past that the majority of my decorating decor is upcycled. I get bored with my decor pretty quickly and like to change it out often, so I don't like to spend a lot of money on it. Baskets are no exception. As far a baskets go, estate sales, thrift stores and yard sales are your best bet for getting them for next to nothing. I also shop the clearance ... VIEW POST

2016 Christmas Home Tour
Happy Friday my friends! Can you believe it's only 16 days until Christmas? Where has the time gone? Speaking of time flying by, we are heading up to K-State today to go on a campus tour. The unnamed child will be getting her associate's degree in the spring and is looking for a state school to move on to. Not sure this mama is ready for her to go that far away! While she's still here, I'm making sure to really be present and enjoy our holiday together. One of our favorite Christmas ... VIEW POST
Neutral Christmas Mantel
Hello my friends! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Kansas! It is bone chillingly cold here today. It gives me the perfect excuse to stay inside and get some work done and some Christmas wrapping started. I have some Michael Buble Christmas music going and a hot cup of cocoa. The pups are trying to help me wrap, and they are less than helpful. I'm a little behind on showing you my Christmas decor this year. Honestly my tree hasn't changed much since it's so expensive ... So In Love With My New Plate Wall
Hello my friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was pretty mellow. I tried to take Topher to see a movie for Father's Day, but unfortunately it was a freaking zoo there, so we bought tickets but then couldn't find any seats ... so we got our money back. I did take him out to dinner though. The movie will have to wait until next weekend. As you all know, I have been repainting the interior of my house, and the exciting part of finishing it is getting to put up some new decor. ... VIEW POST
Farmhouse Shelf 3 Ways
I have a confession. You know how Fixer Upper mania has swept the nation? Of course you do, unless you have been living under a rock for the past two years. I too am a huge fan, and I even braved the crowds to go see them last year in Kansas City. Like everyone else, I adore all of Chip and JoAnna's shiplap walls, french doors, and all of their farmhouse flare. The part I am confessing to is the fact that I myself haven't jumped on the farmhouse bandwagon. Gasp! I know! While I do ... VIEW POST
Spring Home Tour 2016
Make sure yo Don't you just love Spring? The flowers blooming, the birds chirping, warm weather, and most important of all ... yard sales begin. Everyone in the house is happy. I'm able to open the windows, the unnamed child and her boyfriend are able to do more activities outdoors, even the pups are happy because they get to go on walks. Being the lover of color that I am, I feel even more free to add more pops of color this time of year. Today, some of my bloggy ... VIEW POST
Easter Home Tour
Hello my friends! It's a busy week around here as I am getting some last minute projects finished, painting on the house, and getting the house cleaned up for my family heading over here for Easter. This year, I've tried to keep my Easter decor simple by adding in a few new things while the majority of items are things I dug out of storage. For my vintage buffet, I just pulled out all of my candlesticks and a heart that I received awhile back from Olive Wood Designs. ... VIEW POST
