Today, I thought I would share my super easy Heart Pom Pom Pillows with you! They are perfect for a little girl's room or as a Valentine's Day gift. All you need are some old pillows (or pillow covers), a hot glue gun, and some felt. I picked-up these pillow covers at Hobby Lobby for $9.99 each, but I used their online 40% off coupons which made them a bit better. I then inserted a couple of old pillows that I had laying around, and then went to work. ... VIEW POST

Turquoise Dining Table
I'm pretty excited about this post! It's been a long time coming. Shortly after moving into our house eight years ago, we purchased a nice glass table and chair set. I regretted that purchase almost immediately! Glass table + busy family = constant, smudgy mess. This table has been wiped down at least 1,000,000 times. It's almost uncanny how quickly this thing gets dirty. I'll wipe it down so it's spotless, walk into the next room, come back and see that some poltergeist ran smeary ... VIEW POST
Polka-Dot Reindeer
Happy Monday everyone! Are you all scurrying around like I am, running to the grocery store, wrapping presents and cleaning your house too? I thought so. We were snowed in all weekend. So I got a couple of extra Christmas projects finished, made some homemade soup, and watched Holiday Inn, White Christmas, and R.I.P.D. The last one wasn't a Christmas movie, but Topher got to choose one, and I never pass up a chance to watch Ryan Reynolds. We are going with my parents and my cousin ... VIEW POST
My New Ivory Cabinet (HomeRight Paint Sprayer Review)
Happy Monday everyone!!! How was your weekend? I spent time reorganizing all my hoarded furniture in the basement, cleaning-up, I went to see my sweet baby niece, the unnamed child and I watched Snow White and the Huntsman (which was pretty good until the last 5 seconds), and I finished this next furniture piece. I found this green cabinet at a yard sale. ... VIEW POST
Fall Mantel
It has been a rainy dreary day here in Kansas. Of course we would finally get rain right when I needed to spray paint some pumpkins. There was a little iffy window of time today where I got it done. So the last time you saw my mantel, I had just completed my fall stenciled garland, and it looked like this. ... VIEW POST
Child’s Painted Desk
The unnamed child returned to school last week. So far, so good -- except that she has a an enormous amount of homework, and she has only been in school for 4 days. She is taking Modern World History and Ancient World History at the same time, so how she knows what century she is in is beyond me. She is also taking the hardest math class offered in high school. Since math has never been my strong suit, I definitely am unable to help her with Statistics and Trig. I'm pretty sure she ... VIEW POST
Turquoise Ombre Painted Dresser
Happy Monday everyone!!! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent mine painting. I did achieve a major accomplishment though -- I actually cleaned my paint studio! It was a total pit: pieces of sandpaper, tools, knobs, and drawer handles were everywhere. I organized things, and I even vacuumed it! Now I can actually see the floor, so, hopefully, it should be easier to work in there. Which is good since I am getting ready to move a giant dresser in for my next project. Sadly, school ...
